So I lied...
I’m not actually driving. Although that would be badass and a story for the ages, I’ll gladly pay an extra $120 for the convenience of flying. Heading to White Plains pretty soon, since my 6am flight from Bradley was cancelled. Gonna be a fun weekend with some fun people. Let’s go Huskies.

Final Four Bound!
With UConn’s victory tonight over Arizona 65-63, the Huskies are heading to Houston for the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four. I will be road-tripping it to Texas. That’s right, all 29 hours. As a math major, I found this pretty awesome. It’s about the uneven distribution of numbers in the world starting with different digits. For example, you’d think that if you picked a number at random (not from your head, from a separate source like a newspaper or the internet), the odds of it starting with a 1 would be 11.1%, or 1/9 (one of nine digits, 1-9). UConn soccer helped their own cause this afternoon by defeating Pitt 2-0 on goals scored three minutes apart by Juho Karppinen. However, Georgetown was unable to secure at least a tie at Notre Dame, falling 3-0. The loss by Georgetown succumbs UConn (11-2-4, 5-1-3) to the #3 seed in the Big East Tournament. Providence 1-0 WVU, FT
With a loss at Providence this afternoon, West Virginia has assured itself a #4 seed in the Big East Tournament, meaning that UConn will have no worse than a #3 seed. With Georgetown/Notre Dame and UConn/Pitt still to play tomorrow, the seeding in the Blue Division will depend on these games.

#6 UConn vs Georgetown POSTPONED
Due to inclement weather, the match at Georgetown scheduled for 3:00pm today has been moved to 2:00pm Thursday (tomorrow). This game is huge for Blue Division positioning, as Georgetown (10-4-1, 6-1-0) is three points clear of UConn (10-1-4, 4-0-3) for first with two to play. The game, as always, will be broadcast on 91.7 WHUS-HD1, and on WHUS.org.
